CHLOE BOLDT

Chloe Boldt is an upcoming senior, who lives here in Washington, and is involved with video broadcasting at Inglemoor High School. Although she is not a member of her school’s newspaper, Nordic News, she has found skills in this camp to help her broadcasting skills. Chloe plays the cello in her school orchestra, and loves coming up to Western Washington University every year to work with their music program. She also is involved with her school ASB, and loves learning about leadership. Other hobbies Chloe has are watching films, attending church youth group, and being active.

ALEX WINKLER

Alex Winkler was born in Washington and goes to Delta High School. Her staff jobs are secretary and treasurer. So far she is a junior in Delta High School . She is going into her third year of Media group and hopes to help manage the school website. Most of her free time is spent writing, drawing and hanging out with friends.

DANIEL VEGA GARCIA ALDERETE

Daniel Vega is the new Videography and Online head at The Bulldog Brief, a publication located at Brier Terrace Middle School in Brier, Washington. Daniel lives in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, along with his two mothers, and his father in Mexico City for work. Daniel is moving on up to 8th grade, his last year at Brier, then he will attend Mountlake Terrace High School. Daniels intentions are to revamp all of the Bulldog Brief online services, and change up announcements for become more enjoyable and fun. Daniel has a passion for technology, and he wants to use those skills, to help make the Bulldog Brief more accessible, and more popular through announcements, and online services. His colleagues, and him, will make The Bulldog Brief, Great Again.

NATHANAEL MARTINEZ

Nathanael will be a senior at Inglemoor High School this fall. He looks forward to managing his publications website in the coming school year and hopes to increase its following. When he isn’t being a hardcore journalist, Nathanael likes to spend his time playing video games and hanging out with his friends.

VINCIENT DEMEIRO

Vince DeMiero teaches and advises at Mountlake Terrace H.S. where the student newspaper/website – HAWKEYE – and its student staff have won hundreds of international, national, regional and state awards. DeMiero is a past president of the Washington Journalism Education Association, a board member of the Scholastic Press Rights Commission and served as the local chair for the 1998 JEA/NSPA national convention in Seattle. DeMiero was twice named the WJEA Adviser of the Year, was a Dow Jones Newspaper Fund Distinguished Adviser, is an NSPA Pioneer Award recipient and a recipient of the JEA Medal of Merit. All four of his children graduated from MTHS and he and his wife, Debbie, also have three grandsons.
