Sienna Smith lives in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, and is the Web Editor for the Cub. This fall she will be a junior at Sedro-Woolley High School. MELISSA MARTIN
Melissa is the Media and Business Manager at Timberline High School’s The Blazer. She lives in Lacey, Washington with her little sisters, parents and two dogs. Melissa has a passion for music, planning to study it in college. She plays piano and sings in two choirs, as well as teaching piano lessons for young children. Melissa also enjoys being a part of her school’s swim team and being with her friends. Her favorite part of journalism is telling stories that would otherwise go untold and being around everyone on her staff, especially on “Tasty Thursday”.

Chris Danko is a straight-up meme master with a passion for the theater and journalism. He is the online editor of the Wenatchee High School student newspaper The Apple Leaf. VINCE DEMIERO
Vince DeMiero teaches and advises at Mountlake Terrace H.S. where the student newspaper/website – HAWKEYE – and its student staff have won hundreds of international, national, regional and state awards. DeMiero is a past president of the Washington Journalism Education Association, a board member of the Scholastic Press Rights Commission and served as the local chair for the 1998 JEA/NSPA national convention in Seattle. DeMiero was twice named the WJEA Adviser of the Year, was a Dow Jones Newspaper Fund Distinguished Adviser, is an NSPA Pioneer Award recipient and a recipient of the JEA Medal of Merit. All four of his children graduated from MTHS and he and his wife, Debbie, also have three grandsons.
